Who were killed in the Holocaust and what was the actual death toll?
"With respect to the Jews, therefore, I will only operate on the assumption that they will disappear… We must exterminate the Jews wherever we find them." - Hitler
"Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it." -Hitler
The holocaust killed millions of people, mostly in Europe. About five to six million jews were murdered by the Nazi army, and about six million others were killed. The other six million others mostly consisted of Polacks (polish), Russians, and Romanians. Hitler mostly targeted Jews during the holocaust. There are numerous theories on why he development such a great hatred for Jews. He believed the Jews should be "exterminated," because they stole from the people. He believed the Jews were the once that had all the money and were the cause of everything that was going wrong in Germany.
Deniers of the holocaust believe that the numbers are fake and were over estimated on purpose by the French, British, and Americans for various reasons. Those number are impossible to reach. The deniers lie and lie like Hitler did. Some argue that Hitler didn't target Jews. A letter sent to Hitler by a general states differently. It stated the number of Jews they killed in a short period of time of the camp.

They were able to kill about 350,000 in just four month. the holocaust lasts a few years and they got better at murdering at time last on. They, also, had control of a lot of territory and had established more "labor camps" by 1945. They could have easily reached six million deaths only from Jews. The chances of the Nazis reaching a death toll of about 12 million is highly probable.
